Dorset Young Walkers are a friendly outdoor activities and social group in our 20s to 30s, established in 2003 and part of The Ramblers Association.

We organise regular weekend walks, events and socials across the beautiful countryside and coastal regions such as Dorchester, Poole, Bournemouth, Purbeck, Corfe, Cranborne Chase and Lyme Regis. As well as a variety of short to medium range walks exploring the Dorset countryside, we organise social events and weekends away such as camping trips.

If you are interested in joining us please browse our programme of events. It is ok to just turn up to one of the walks (usually without booking) and our website has all the information you need to make your day out with us a pleasure. If you need any extra advice, you can email us, send us a message on Twitter or join our Facebook page.

To walk with us on a regular basis, be eligible for competitions and attend trips away you will need to be a member of The Ramblers. For more details on joining our group and becoming a regular member of the DYW please read the information pages here.
