Description: Get this year's camping trips off to a great start down in one of the most beautiful areas of Cornwall, St.Ives. I have booked Ayr Holiday Park's camping area (Trevalgan Touring park http://www.ayrholidaypark.co.uk/touring-park.php) for up to 30 people, as well as holiday apartments available to book if you can't face any chilly nights! Staying up to 5 nights, arriving Friday 31st April evening 5pm onwards and leaving Wednesday morning 5th May. You can stay as many nights as you wish, although we will be visiting the Eden project on the way back on the Wednesday. There will also of course be walks of the area, a visit to the Tate St.Ives to see some fine sculpture, brilliant surfing nearby and possibility other events. St.Ives is right down the bottom of Cornwall - a good 6 and half hour drive from Portsmouth, so it's worth staying the full 5 nights, if however you can only stay a couple of nights that's fine. To book - camping works out around £12.50 per night, which isn't the cheapest but the park is very well equiped and comes highly rated. A £50 deposit is required before March 31st please to book the full 5 nights. If you staying only a couple of nights then a full deposit is required for your stay. Prices are on the website here http://www.ayrholidaypark.co.uk/touring-park-tariff.php to work out for to pay, tent and car sharing bring the prices down a lot! (there I go encouraging free love again!). To book one of the holiday apartments or caravans on the park, this must be done privately by contacting that park's reception here http://www.ayrholidaypark.co.uk/holiday-apartments.php. Please let me know your if you book privately so I know who's coming! Please contact me via email to confirm your place asap, and I will need by the 31st March please details of your tent size, tent sharing arrangements and car sharing arrangements, and a cheque made payable to 'Ayr Holiday Park'. My email is andyskraga@hotmail.com, and you can mobile me on 07733 547574.
