Description: It's that time of year again folks. This is your chance to have your say in the running of the Dorset Young Walkers Group. The Annual General Meeting 2010 will take place on Saturday, 17th April. The day will start with a short walk starting at 10:30, followed by an optional lunch at the pub before the meeting starts at 2:30pm. Please consider standing for one of the committee posts (a description of which will appear on this site shortly), or at least coming along to vote.
Start Point: The Bere Regis Scout Hut. On entering Bere Regis from the East, pass the pub on your right and turn into Elder Road (the next right). Parking for the walk will be in surrounding roads/the public car park as the hall will not be open until 2pm.

Walks Programme 
Organiser: Cheryl Distance(miles): 5
Leisurely - Gentle walk up to 8 miles, fairly flat, unchallenging terrain.
Moderate - Brisker walk from 6 to 12 miles, could have moderate ascents/descents, rougher terrain.
Strenuous - Taxing terrain and routes 10-15 miles, faster walking with possibly steep ascents/descents.
Technical - Long distance routes, very fast pace, or mountainous walks, for experienced and fit walkers only.
